Kindly be informed that in view that the MCA HQ Election Steering Committee (ESC) has received many complaints and feedback on the Assembly’s registration time, the Committee has thus proposed to the MCA Central Committee to omit Article 5.10 from the “Rules Governing The Election of MCA Office-Bearers at All Levels 2023”, which states that “The meeting’s registration: The meeting’s registration will end 30 minutes after the meeting commences at the stipulated time. Latecomers will automatically cease the right to attend the meeting and to vote.”

In this regard, the 31st MCA Central Committee meeting held on 24 March 2023 has agreed to the above proposal. Hence, the Assembly and Election scheduled to be held at all levels will not be restricted by the registration time (except for National Election and Nomination).
